"Thou art called to labor in my vineyard, and to build up my church, and to bring forth Zion, that it may rejoice upon the hills and flourish. Behold, verily, verily, I say unto thee, thou art not called to go into the eastern countries, but thou art called to go to the Ohio. And inasmuch as my people shall assemble themselves at the Ohio, I have kept in store a blessing such as is not known among the children of men, and it shall be poured forth upon their heads. And from thence men shall go forth into all nations. Wherefore, go forth, crying with a loud voice saying: The kingdom of heavn is at hand: crying: Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God. Go forth baptizing with water, preparing the way before my face for the time of my coming." --Doctrine and Covenants 39: 13-15, 19-20

February 6, 2012

Well, thank you Dad for the words of wisdom that you gave me. They are
always pretty interesting every single week. Well, I never received an
email from Mom maybe in a few short minutes but not too much has
changed here just being a missionary like always. Hope everyone is
doing well at home and love you all.

Ok Mom love you and I hope that Grandma will be ok. Our teaching is
going great and Robert set his own baptismal date but it’s in July so
we are trying to help him know that he will be ready before then. Well,
I love you and tell Grandma I love her too.
Love,
Elder Ryan Furtney

Hello my dear son:  Sorry, I am on my way to California.  Grandma had
another stroke and I am going to see her.  I forgot to write you and am
sending a quick note now.  I love you so much.  How is your teaching going?
Has your investigator made a baptism commitment yet?  I will keep you posted
on Grandma, I am sure everything will be fine. Hugs and kisses.  Mom
